At the end of january
1963 I was born in Madrid as the son of my german mom and my spanish father. An
ibicenco.
After a few month my
mom traveled with me to germany.
Here in germany I
grow up. My childhod was in Berlin, Werder and Düsseldorf.
One of my aunts was an artist.
She and her husband build tables with paitings all about the castle of
Sanssoucci and Mozarts themes.
So I decided to be also
such an artist if I am adult.
In the early 1970 years I
won the 1st place. The painting was for a painting work for handicaped
kids for the xmas market.
The jackpot was a large
chocolate. It was given by the Lady of Mr Henkel, Gabriele Henkel.
In the further time, around
teenage 13th age I painted, made sketches. I drawed a lot.
A get a lot of positive
feedback. So I went on.
Interior, design and so
on was my world. I a lot of magazines of these tor themes.
I my little childroom I
build up a few things. A cover for the heating of my girlfriend or a terrarium
with glassfronts for a friend.
When I started my first job
education in 1980 as a carpenter I wanted to study design in Düsseldorf
after this.
Unfortunately it went different
after my educater died.
After I was well educated
from 1983 to 1985 in the Henkel Group I got all tools to make business.
The next 5 years I worked
first in the headquarter in Düsseldorf. In the dept for finance &
controlling.
The years passed before I
start 1995 my own project.
I founded a shoelabel for
high fashion shoes and highheels.
My first shop was a little
cute store. At the end of 1995 I opened the 2nn one.Than I developed the
mailorder sales, later the web store.
Some interviews on TV made
me wellknown in Europe.
The company growed and so
we had a great time to create customized shoes.
But after all this great
years, more and more shoesupplier closed or went in their rentire. At the
end I had only two and thius made no sense for my customer and me.
In 1994 and 1995 I painted
a few pictures with highheels. I was interested in the playing of lights
and shadows. Or really crazy points of view.
Further I was inspired
by HR Giger. First I did some trails with the air brush gun. Later with
monochrome paints.
But I thought that
the resuklts are to strange and all this maskig and covering for air brush
was to much.
So I put all away
for nearly 27 years and out my focus on my new store business with shoes.
During cleaning work I found
my old airbrush gun.
The world has changed in
the meantimne. We were in the middle of a pandemia.
Now I had more than one
idea for paintings each day. So the airbrush tech was the way to make the
pictures now.
Since 2020 I made art
again. I now found a style to paint. It comes from the inner, the way I
walked in the past.
As HR Giger said once a time,
"brainphotos" .
I mostly use hardpaper.
His death in 2014 had touch
me and showed me once again, how fast all can be over.
Therefore, my credo, never
start to stop, and stop never to do.
Thank you for your time and
interesting.
